Principles of Bondage Ties for Sex and Punishment

This article will be about principles of how to attach someone to herself or to sturdy objects, called hard points, with rope. For the actual technique of ropework, perhaps that’ll be future articles but you can check out a book on knots. For some examples of ties I like to use, see Bondage Positions. Here I will describe some overall principles so that you can make your custom ties, as depending on the logistics of your hard points.

You can use rope to attach a limb to a limb, a limb directly to a hard point, or a limb then a stretch of rope for a distance to a hard point.

Limb to limb can be arms to arms, legs to legs, arms to legs, arms behind back and torso, or torso to legs.

Limb to a hard point can be either at one point, such as a wrist secured, or many parts of the body, such as a cross type position with her back on a tall headboard (or other cross location) and arms stretched out.

Limb by rope to a hard poinit: to make it sturdy, make sure she can onlly pull against tension, she has no space to move the other direction, being stretched out. Otherwise you can attach another rope to the same limb but to a hard point 180 degrees across, to create countertension. This will make the tie secure.

The more hard points there are the more versatility you have in your ties. A thorough set of hard points would be on both left and right top and bottom: under the mattress, right above the mattress, half a meter above the mattress, then one meter above.

Suspension and Partial Suspension Bondage are basically the presence of hard points on the ceiling, or otherwise above her.
