The other week a friend of mine asked about what seems to be a common concern: many women cannot climax during intercourse without stimulating their clit, and thus have a hard time getting there. They can sometimes “double click” (use their hands to rub themselves during the act) but find it distracting and difficult to do for an extended period of time.
There are a few standard solutions:
- Get a “Magic Wand” type vibrator, this is probably the easiest and most effective solution, most of the time. They are quite powerful, and by simple the man or woman holding it over the clit during intercourse, it can generate a lot of stimulation and need not be there for a long period of time to get the woman there.
- “Vibrating cock rings” used to be all the rage but are not as marketed anymore. They are a ring that goes around the base of the penis with an attachment above to attach a light vibe to it. Often, however, these are too light to get the woman there, and are usually more of an added boost to women who can climax from intercourse easily already.
- “We-vibe” type vibrators are a new contemporary device, and this is in the shape of a hook, that vibrates, with one part going in the vagina and one above the clit. The idea is that the penis is brushing against the part that is inside the vagina as it thrusts, pushing the device strongly into the G-spot
- The “CAT” or Coital-Alignment-Technique position, is essentially missionary, however, you bring your pelvis more up and in front, so that the dick slides in more at an angle to the back wall of the vagina, meanwhile the man’s pelvic bone rubs against the clit. This can be effective, however, the angle of penetration may be unsatisfying and it is more difficult to get strong deep thrusts in.
