Waves

One of the central themes of Tantra is continuity. By maintaining consistent sensation and erotic energy, the capacity for pleasure expands and both partners get continuously more immersed in the experience. Every sensation is treated with more sensitivty to detail and your bodies’ rhythms become very familiar. Waves is a term I came up with, but I’m sure others do it, and I’m sure someone else has called it that way too.

Waves are especially good if you are aiming for particularly prolonged intercourse. By waves I mean essentially what one would think of in applying the shape of a wave to sexual stitmulation: start off with a slow meditative rhythm and rise up to a pounding peak, but instead of going until you are tired or she can’t take more, and then stopping and resting completely, after hitting her pussy with peak enenrgy for some time you relax while still inside and move into a slow tantric sensual meditative thrusting for a long while, before very slowly rising your energy up again. Then you speed up, becomes overall more vigorous and aggressive and then get to another peak of intensity, higher than the previous one, then drop back down again. Several of tthese in succession and you’ll be summitting some lovely heights.

In general this is natural with tantric practice, and the spirit of creativity, play and experimentation with the amplitude, frequency and other aspects about how you do the wave is part of the connecting and exploration process. The perception that tantra is just staring into each other’s eyes with one thrust every five seconds for the entire duration of two hours is a bit of an unfortunate exaggeration of popular perception.
